Overview:

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established surveying firm looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to lead growth efforts across Glasgow and the surrounding region. This role is tailored for a candidate with direct experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industries and a strong existing network.

You’ll be instrumental in identifying and developing new opportunities, shaping commercial strategy, and building long-term client partnerships.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven track record in a business development or client-facing role within AEC

• Strong network of industry contacts in Glasgow and the wider region

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• In-depth understanding of how surveying supports project delivery in AEC

• Self-driven, organised, and focused on strategic growth

What You'll Be Doing:

• Identifying and securing new business opportunities within the AEC space

• Creating and managing a strong pipeline of potential clients

• Representing the company at networking events, conferences, and meetings

• Building trusted relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and developers

• Collaborating with technical teams to deliver tailored proposals and service solutions

• Reporting on market trends, pipeline activity, and business performance
